Established in the mid 1800s Newton has kept its charming past as it forges ahead for the next generation that will call Newton home. Downtown Newton public square boasts a Neo-classical building that once directed court proceedings. A classic American judicial town, Newton doesn't shy away from remembering its past as it continues to host the yearly Soldiers Reunion - a week of patriotic and entertaining activities for area residents, including a parade downtown. The event is the oldest non-holiday patriotic celebration in the nation. The Murray Mill and Bunker Hill Covered Bridge are distinct reminders of the importance of the town to its economic contribution to the county. A large portion of the nation's furniture is produced within a 200-mile radius of Newton. This fact is impressive for the nation which is fixated on interior design.

Due to Newton's central location to neighboring towns, access to dining, entertainment, cultural arts, and community is a short commute.

Dr. Gary Freeze, a local historian and author of She Is Not Yet Finished, A history of Newton summarized the spirit of the town and its people. "Newton is a place, a community with a rich heritage and a sincere heart." It simply is a great small town.

Built by a North Carolina Superior Court judge in 1939, this charming Classic Colonial offers stylish, stately luxurious accommodations for a pampered stay. This is a well-appointed house thoughtfully designed in preserving history and living in modernity.

Your stay includes the outdoor gardens. Depending on the season, you'll enjoy picking seasonal produce, riding bikes to the History Museum or 'coffeeing up or wining down' downtown in style. Hello there future wedding bestie! We are Shan and Rina Norwood, owners of ​Boutique Auberge, Passport to Luxury Inn and Hello Darling at Boutique Auberge- A ​lifestyle venue for every special occasions.

Hello Darling at Boutique Auberge™ is a wedding venue that sits on the historic ​grounds of a stately home in Newton, North Carolina. It is our flagship boutique inn ​and our most artfully curated design project. The house was built in 1939 by Superior ​Court judge J.C. Rudisill and his wife Olanthe Rudisill. We acquired the property in ​2022 and embarked on the journey of sharing the beautiful architecture of this iconic ​home. Rendered in the stylistic essence of the South Lawn facade of the White House, ​it is worth sharing to those that appreciate classic yet modern aesthetics.

With a thoughtful design that preserves its landmark elements while offering a ​modern vibe to newly weds and their loved ones, we are the curators & chief who ​have transformed this property over the years, making it a breathtaking venue for ​couples to create lifelong memories. We can't wait to extend a warm welcome of Hello ​Darling!

Facilities and Capacity

Each space at Hello Darling at Boutique Auberge™ offers unexpected charm ​and storytelling through design. The entire wedding celebration will take place ​outdoors, with several gorgeous locations to choose from. Upon seeing the ​ceremony layout for the first time, guests will need to relocate their jaws after ​collectively hitting the floor. This vibrant setting appeals to all senses and is ​the perfect location to swap vows and say, "I do." Whether a smaller, intimate ​gathering or a lively and lavish affair, Boutique Auberge™ can accommodate ​all types of wedding celebrations. The happy couple and their immediate ​wedding party can make use of the gorgeous indoor wedding suite when ​preparing for both the ceremony and reception.

Services Offered

We will be there to welcome the wedding party when they arrive at Hello ​Darling at Boutique Auberge™. Our staff will show the happy couple to the ​exquisite inn where they can reside for the duration of their stay. With four ​suites available, a select few party members will be lucky to join their friends ​for an unforgettable weekend on the Boutique Auberge™ property.
